Aaron’s Cracking Christmas Classic Corner!

Alliteration inbound!

What that word means, nobody fucking knows, but we’re rolling with it anyway for the sake of this stupidly long title.

Screw Flanders.

That’s right, boys and girls, it’s Christmas time. A time for giving, receiving, and spreading joy! But enough of the sexy talk, let’s crack on!

The Film – Gremlins

Yep, you probably saw that coming a mile off, but I’ll be damned if I have another favourite Christmas movie!

The classic tale that tells us the story of hamster boy and his scaly lizard folk! Of course, we know him as Gizmo the Mogwai (Cracking band) and the titular gremlins!

This film is so much fun and every time I watch it and think I’m going to get tired of it I just end up loving it all the more! The soundtrack, the critters and their capers, the fucking bar scene, ladies and gentlemen, and all the different ways those little buggers terrorise the town! I just love it!

The Album – Death Metal Christmas: Hellish Renditions of Christmas Classics by JJ Hrubovcak

The title speaks for itself, really, and though this isn’t an album (it’s an EP) and I ordinarily hate Christmas songs, I needed something for this Christmas edition of my classic corner that you have all come to love so much!

So I choose this Hate Eternal styled, ferocious banger for when you want to make your Christmas just that little extra brutal.

The Game – I don’t really know any Christmas games, so fuck it. Die Hard Trilogy

Remember that? It was on PS1. It was great fun.

So there you have it, folks! A little bit of Aaron in your stockings (phwoar!) so have a lovely Christmas from everybody at E14, eat plenty of food, have lovely presents and play charades!

I will see you in the new year, have a good one!

Aaron James Waters is a best-selling Pulp Fiction writer who has written more books than he's actually read.

He's also the rotten apple of the group who thinks this whole Star Wars thing needs to hurry up and die already.
