Rob returns for 2017, unboxing the "January" subscription box! The theme this month is "Mystical"!
Zboxes, for those unfamiliar, are Zavvi's answer to a subscription box like Lootcrate. For a fixed price every month, they will send you a box of geek-friendly goodies! Ranging from puzzles to Pop! Vinyl figures to books, and even throwing a T-shirt in for good measure (and they do measure them well, they're a lovely fit), subscription boxes have become somewhat of a staple for those looking to retain some mystery in their purchasing.
What will Rob find in this month's Zbox? There's only one way to find out!
In the latest E14 Gamecast, the crew get together to discuss a couple of topics. First, at the suggestion of a listener, they play "Explain Your Favourite Game Badly".
Then they move on to another listener question: What's the most disappointing game you've ever bought?
As it's us, we also go off on a tangent about anime.
About The E14 Gamecast
In 2014, we decided that all the talk of games had gone far enough...to get its own dedicated podcast! The Gamecast is a show all about games. Initially recorded as a short chat about the Titanfall beta, the crew has talked about all sorts of subjects ranging from Eurogamer Expo, the previous console generations and general comments about what they're playing at the time. We've also done some tabletop-gaming related content, and even did a Let's Play or two on the show!

YouTube
In early 2015, we successfully endeavoured to put all the existing episodes on YouTube. We've not only done that, but also kept the trend up - All E14 episodes now go Live on the same day on both YouTube and iTunes! You can find all the videos from The E14 Gamecast here:

Podcast fans of Emotionally14 will be pleased to know that last night we recorded an episode of The Crazy Train and The E14 Gamecast! It was a packed house, with our biggest cast since changing recording locations, as Rob was joined by Blake, Crouch, Spike and Marc! It's the first time Spike and Marc have recorded together, and that was always going to be a special moment!
Anyway, first impressions from the cast were that the episodes turned out great! They're now entering the post-production phase, and we hope to be able to share the first of the two (most likely The Crazy Train #45) at the end of next week!
Don't forget, if you want to get your questions read out on the air, the best way is to connect with us on social media, either over at @Emotionally14 on Twitter, Our Facebook Page or by emailing Here. Of course, you can find both our podcasts on iTunes by searching "emotionally14" in the Podcast store, and you can also find full episodes on Youtube and Stitcher!
In today's E14 Toybox (The first of 2017!) Rob returns to give the fine viewers of E14 an insight into his unboxing life! Today, he's got mail - not just any mail, but mail that closes a chapter on one of the longest-running tropes of Emotionally14 itself. Enjoy!
Let us know what you think of the camera setup - we've recorded a few like it, and are looking to ways to improve.
