Review by Rob Wade
Four college girls are looking for a good time on a Friday night, and decide to visit a rave at a local warehouse. Once they're locked in the warehouse, they pass out. Upon awaking, they discouver that actually they're part of a deadly game involving a pair of psychopaths, one of whom has a taste for flesh....
I am so fucking glad that this film was only seventy-three minutes long, because to be honest it felt like around sixty-four minutes too long.
This film is woeful from start to finish. The presentation is atrocious, with the picture looking it was produced on a Kodak fun camera. The budget for the entire movie seems to be about £6.50, which is atrocious considering they're expecting you to pay twice that much to buy the movie. Plus the acting is abysmal and don't get me started on the sound. Alright, I'll rant about the sound, but I warned you. Imagine, if you will, a post-production meeting at Brain Damage Films.
"Right, so the movie's ready to go then?"
"Well, not quite..."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, the master audio recording got damaged when I used it to whip a close friend in the anus."
"Right, can we record some new audio and loop it in over the top successfully?"
"One way to find out..."
The audio doesn't sync up at the best of times, and at the worst of times it cuts out completely. Having said that, with some of the dialogue as bad as it is, maybe they were doing me a tremendous favour.
The Emotionally Fourteen Rating :
Violence : Some tiny amounts on screen, a sizeable amount implied.
Sex/Nudity : A few instances of tits.
Swearing : A fair few uses of curse words.
Summary: This film comes across like the first year film project of a student who deserves to fail their course. 1/10
Sounds like a great candidate for one of Brad's movie nights..
ReplyDeleteActually, they're Ian's movie nights. I'm just as much of a victim as you are.
